Terms of Use

1. The service

Campus OS helps schools manage students, attendance, fees, exams, homework and messages to families. By registering a school or signing in, you agree to these terms.

2. Logins

The principal registers the school and is responsible for the logins the school creates. Keep your password private. If you think someone else knows it, ask the school office to set a new one.

3. What the school agrees to

To enter correct details, to get parents' agreement before keeping a child's details, to use Campus OS only for school work, and to follow Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

4. Plans and payment

A new school gets a free trial. After that, the school pays for a plan based on its number of students, as shown on the Plan & billing page. When a plan ends, the school has 7 days to renew; after that the app becomes read-only until payment. A school's records are never deleted for non-payment.

5. Fees paid by families

Fees from parents go straight to the school's own UPI ID or office. Campus OS never holds or handles this money. Questions about fees should go to the school.

6. Fair use

Do not use Campus OS to break the law, to look at details you are not meant to see, to try to break its security, or to upload harmful content.

7. Availability

We work to keep Campus OS running and its records backed up, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable. Keep any paper records the law asks you to keep.

8. Stopping

A school can stop using Campus OS at any time and ask for a copy of its records. We may pause a school that misuses the service, telling it first where possible.

9. Responsibility

Campus OS is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, our responsibility to a school is limited to the amount it paid us in the last 12 months.
